5 Celebrities on Dealing With Their Sensitive Skin

Sensitive Skin can be much more difficult to look after as it reacts to more products and breaks out easily – it can even be damaged if it’s not cared for correctly. These 5 stars say they all have sensitive skin and they’ve spoken on how they deal with it, from the best products they’ve used, to just their personally approach to protecting their skin with sunscreen and looking after it well, they’ve all found a way to look healthy and glowing despite their fussy skin type.

  1. Amy Adams

Amy likes Neutrogena products and always uses SPF: “I don’t really buy into a lot of fads, partially because I have really sensitive skin. I’ve tried that and it doesn’t always go well. But I am a big SPF girl. I use Neutrogena a lot. They tend to be the best with sensitive skin.”

  1. Dita Von Teese

Dita works with a dermatologist to keep her skin healthy but won’t go near expensive treatments. She explained that she simply takes care of what she has: “I have sensitive skin, and I need to take care of it, but I’m not trying to do anything but keep it healthy. My skin’s never looked better and it’s not to do with lasers or any other expensive treatments.”

  1. Lily Collins

Lily thinks sunscreen is essential for those with sensitive skin to prevent damage and premature aging: “Sunscreen is my beauty staple. It’s the be-all and end-all of your skin. I didn’t realise how important it was until I did ‘Mirror Mirror’. I had it on every day because they wanted that pale, pale skin. But also I’m British, right? I have sensitive skin and, if you don’t want to have wrinkles or sunspots, it’s so important to protect yourself, it’s a huge must-have.”

  1. Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett swears by gentle products and thinks they’re the best for her skin: “I find that the least aggressive skin regime seems to be the best for my skin. So I just use a very simple non-comedogenic cleanser’. I have sensitive skin, so I use actually just Cetaphil face wash (Gentle skin Cleaner) and Clarins moisturizer (Hydro Quench Cream Mask). I wear mostly natural makeup.”

  1. Whitney Port

Whitney says Clinique products work great on her sensitive skin: “It’s really gentle for sensitive skin and oil-free. And it doesn’t leave any greasy residue!”
