South African Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel always has a sun-kissed gorgeous glow, bouncy beach wave hair and blemish-free skin, not to mention her enviable body! The model has shared some great tips that help her stay looking her best - here are her best secrets for gorgeous makeup, skin and hair. From natural products to hair treatments, Candice prefers chemical-free, health-boosting options and is passionate about taking care of her skin.

 

1.      She Uses Hair Oils

Candice protects her hair from the elements by using oils and special conditioners: "Because I'm in the ocean all the time, I use a lot of different oils and conditioning creams on my hair. In Brazil it's very normal to take products and your brush to the beach, people dye their hair... so I take all of my conditioning treatments to the beach when I'm there."

 

2.      She Moisturizes Her Blonde Hair

She keeps her blonde hair moisturized with special treatments: "For blondes its really important to keep your hair moisturized, and because our hair is worked on every day I use a lot of deep conditioning stuff. Kérastase is one of my favorite brands."

 

3.      She Illuminates Her Face

She highlights her face and creates a glowing look with makeup: "I use illuminator a lot on my cheekbones-- you can put it on your nose and on the bow of your lips. I always think skin looks better if its glowing so thats a good trick."

 

4.      She Loves Natural Tea Products

She prefers natural, tea-based products: "I use natural products, nothing too expensive. My skin is really sensitive so I use a lot of natural Tea Tree oil or Green Tea infused products. I try to use mostly organic products too."

 

5.      She Takes Care of Her Skin

Candice treats her skin well and has a strict regime: "I've always been taught that you're never too young to take care of your skin. Everything from the food you eat to what you put on your face is important. I lead a healthy lifestyle and get all my vitamins from the food I eat. I supplement that with my skincare routine of cleansing, toning and moisturising."
