Model and actress Jaime King always has such an amazing complexion that never looks dull, while she manages to subtly highlight her features with great makeup that doesn’t overpower her beauty whenever she’s on the red carpet. Jaime explains that she loves to contour her face with a mixture of products that shows off and highlight her best features. She also takes very good care of her skin and even likes to make some of her own homemade treatments with some natural products. Here are some of her best makeup and beauty secrets.

1.      Her Budget-Friendly Skin Tip

Jaime believes a hand towel can work just as good as a Clarisonic: “You know how they have Clarisonics, which are really great? Using a really great hand towel when washing your face does the same thing, which costs nothing.”

2.      She Loves Blusher & Bronzer

She loves to add some colour to her face and knows exactly how to apply it: "Bobbi Brown and Chanel make really beautiful blushes that you can then add on top. Like, on the apples of your cheeks and up to the base of your eyes...I like to sweep upwards with a shimmery kind of blush and Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks are great because you can also turn them into eye shadows."

3.      She Contours Her Face

She uses a concealer to create a contoured look: "I'm not into the whole dewy look - I always do highlighting and contouring. I use a light Koh Gen Do Concealer down my nose, above my brows and under my eyes and then just spread it all the way out to my temples. Then, I put it on the bow of my lip, on my cheeks and under each nostril, and blend it all together. You look crazy when you first do it, like you're wearing a mask! But it highlights certain areas and sculpts your natural features.'

4.      She Focuses on Great Skin

She uses several products on her skin to keep it looking great: "I’m avid about face serums, face moisturizers, and face washing. That’s definitely something I learned from my mother. I use Elemental Herbology face wash. It’s the only thing that will literally take everything off of my skin without having to scrub, scrub, scrub."

5.      Her Homemade Treatments

Jaime has plenty of homemade beauty secrets: "Take olive oil and sugar and a great essential oil and rub it all on your skin as an exfoliator. Another simple one would be to run a hot bath, put in some Epsom salt from your local drugstore, and add some aromatherapy. I think it’s important that women know you don’t have to have a gazillion dollars to feel or look beautiful."
