Helping babies to sleep is not difficult. It is important that you need to know the 'troublemaker' and deal with it. 

Parents will be happy to see their baby sleeping enough, being obedient and healthy! However, for babies, especially preschool-age children, the habit of less sleeping and giddy is extremely common. Sometimes, illness, hunger or going into a new stage of development causes baby's sleeping problems or startle. However, normally, children awake and do not sleep well because sleeping environment is not ideal.

1.     Is the sleeping time of your baby unified? 

Good habit is always a factor to have success. So, making sleeping schedule and training children are necessary. This means that you take your baby to bed on time and try not to break this "rule". 

2.     Is the bed room too warm? 

Children will feel extremely frustrating, annoying when the bedroom temperature is too high. Therefore, keeping bedroom temperature at about 68 F degrees is ideal. Remember, lay your children on bed with mattress that is not too soft in the first years of life to avoid the phenomenon of sudden death in children. 

You absolutely should not let the items such as pillows, blankets, bed sheets, even stuffed animals because these things can cover the face and suffocate babies. If it is a little cold, instead of covering more blanket, you'd better wear more clothes for your children. If your babies have a fever, you should not cover blanket for them because they are not be able to withstand high temperature - usually the most fatal factor. 

3.     Are babies too tired? 

Do active and strong activities before going to bed will cause excitement, that's why babies are easy to awake. If taking bath before going to bed makes them relax, let's do it. Reading book or clapping on the back are also acts of love that kids like a lot.

4.     Is the environment too noisy? 

Most children feel restless and are hard to sleep if the ambient is noisy. Especially, toddlers will be very easy to get distracted and do not want to miss any sound. Therefore, they usually delay and refuse to sleep even you appease. 

Let's try to minimize the noise outside the bedroom of children so that you can gently take them in deep sleep!

Tips to help your baby have a deep sleep

The secret recipe: taking bath with warm water + reading story = sleeping well. These two things make the baby's body relax a lot. Before babies sleep, you should stay with them a little but not too long.

Do not let babies drink water before going to bed. It will make them urinate at night.

Massage babies before bed. They will feel comfortable and easily get into deep sleep. However, do not do it as a habit. When babies are not massaged by mothers, they will have trouble with sleeping.

Check the entire room before turning off the light and come back to your room. Has the window closed yet, does the curtain cause bizarre shapes or not, have the toys removed from the crib yet?
