American
legendary model Jerry Hall has teamed up with TK Maxx in the UK for a new 'Give
Up Clothes for Good' charity campaign which will fund Cancer Research UK, who
will use the money to search for cures and treatments when dealing with
childhood cancers. Jerry is urging those with extra clothes they no longer want
to simply clear out their wardrobes and donate their pieces to the nearest TK
Maxx store.
Jerry
commented on taking part in the new initiative which also sees her posing for
promotional images captured by photographer Jason Bell. She said: “I am
absolutely honoured to be part of Give Up Clothes for Good. More children than
ever are now surviving cancer thanks to the work of Cancer Research UK but it
is still the leading cause of death in children. So please support Give Up
Clothes for Good and drop off a bag of clothing at your local TK Maxx store.
Remember, you can now donate all year round.” The donated items will then go on
sale at Cancer Research UK shops in a bid to raise funds for the worthy cause.

were cured. Today that figure is, three in four thanks to research. With your
help we hope to make it four in four. All the money raised from Give Up Clothes

Maxx store and help us to beat children’s cancers sooner.”
