As
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's lavish wedding day approaches, there is much
speculation regarding what both fashionable stars will wear down the aisle and
which designers they've selected to create their bespoke wedding ensembles.
French designer Stéphane Rolland is close friends with the couple and will
be attending their wedding ceremony. He believes that they will both be dressed
in quite romantic looks and he thinks they may have asked their close friend,
Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci, to design for them: ''I think she is going to
be for sure romantic...It depends on who will be the designer. They are friends
with Riccardo Tisci.... so I would not be surprised if he is doing the
dress.''
Rolland
adds that he thinks some people take Kim the wrong way and when he first met
her he was instantly impressed with her personality: ''I think sometimes
people have a vision of her, and it's not the reality. When I met her for the
first time I just fell in love with her personality, so it was easy for me
to dress her."
Opening
up on what he would like to see Kanye wear down the aisle, Rolland believes a
regal inspired outfit would look amazing and he should ditch the traditional
bow: ''I would appreciate to see him very elegant, like a long grey or
black jacket. Very French and English-inspired. And not with a bow, but with a
tie.'' He comments that he plans to design the couple a special outfit for
their daughter North after he gets to meet her: ''I prefer to see the baby
first, and after I will.''
