Design
duo Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have created their first wedding dress. The
actresses-turned-designers were asked by their very close friend, Molly
Fishkin, to create a dress for her wedding day when she married in Los Angeles
recently. Speaking on approaching the twins to design the special dress, Molly
commented that they have always been close so it felt natural to ask the twins:
"They are very close friends of mine and have been for the last 15
years."
Molly
revealed that the twins didn't hesitate o say yes, and from the moment they
learnt of her engagement were excited to work with her on her dream design.
"The minute I got engaged, they said they would love to design my wedding
dress." Creating a vintage-inspired lace dress with gorgeous flared
sleeves, the twins designed a classic, elegant white dress for Molly to wear
down the aisle. Fishkin commented that she completely trusted their vision and
she was thrilled with how their team was so helpful: "I was thrilled—their
taste is impeccable, and I really trust them. Their team was so incredible and
patient with me."
Mary-Kate
and Ashley were there in person to see Molly tie the knot, both wearing long
boho-inspired looks at the carefree wedding. Moll commented that the twins made
the design process a positive and relaxed experience, and she won't forget the
whole process because they made it very memorable: "They were always so
calming and made the process incredibly enjoyable. I will never forget what they
did for me."
