British singer Pixie Lott has opened up on her spring style, sharing what she hopes to wear for the new season ahead and commenting on some of the key fashion trends. Pixie is already known for her quirky style and has previously designed her own line in collaboration with Lipsy. She says that she thinks everyone will be wearing shades of hot pink this season, and she’s already worn the trend to a recent party she attended:
”I hear on the grapevine that the colour to be rocking for SS15 is hot pink so I will be sporting that in a quirky vibe. I wore a hot pink Moschino dress for my album launch after party recently and loved it. “
While usually not interested in a sport-inspired look, Pixie thinks athletic wear is another big fashion trend emerging and she hopes to give the look a try by mixing a pair of trainers with smart tailoring to give it a unique, dressed-up twist:
“I’ve never really been a trainer girl but I am embracing it more for SS15 and mixing them up with tailoring and smart wear because there are some amazing pairs coming in.”
Revealing what designer pieces she’d love to splurge on for Spring/Summer, Pixie says she has already spotted some designs by Missoni and Dior that she’d love to buy for herself: ”I spotted the new Missoni range on Net-A-Porter’s Instagram. It’s that vibrant colour, print and 70s feel that I love. This spring/summer is also about the new Dior sunglasses drop. They are on everybody’s wish list.”
