5 Stars on Their Top Beach Style & Beauty Essentials

It’s finally that time of the year when everyone hits the beach for some fun in the sun, so here is a look at some top beach style & beauty essentials that celebrities have selected as their must-haves for those warm days spent sunbathing. From the perfect floaty cover-up to a sun-kissed tan and protection from the sun’s rays, these stars have spoken on what they need to enjoy a day lounging on the beach in style.

  1. Brooklyn Decker

Brooklyn makes sure to protect her hair while in the sun for long periods: “I color my hair and I have soooo much of it so I have to take good care of it. Kerastase has a great spray that is basically an SPF for your hair. It also has these natural oils that make the hair texture really soft and wavy. It just protects it from sun, chlorine, etc”

  1. Heidi Klum

Heidi loves to have a loose cover-up for the beach: “One of my favorite labels, Thomas Wylde, has a beautiful chiffon cover-up that I wear all the time, and J.Crew cotton sweaters are comfortable and inexpensive.”

  1. Kate Moss

Kate always gets a spray tan so she has a natural glow: “Before every festival and beach holiday I prep with a tan. I always make sure I have my St.Tropez booked in with [celebrity skin expert] Nichola Joss, because having a tan before you go is very handy. It covers a multitude of sins, and means that you’ve always got a healthy glow. Once I’ve had my tan I’m good to go!”

  1. Kelly Brook

Kelly keeps her style simple and picks a fitted bikini: ”I never wear much make-up on the beach as your skin needs to breathe. I prefer to be more relaxed, which means no heels, no make-up, no jewellery. Just a great-fitting bikini from my new collection, a Panama hat, loose hair and off I go.”

  1. Rachel Zoe

Rachel says a good sun screen is on top of her list, as well as a sunhat and sunglasses: “First and foremost on my list? Sun protection! Never leave home without an a-mah-zing pair of oversized shades, a woven sunhat and sunscreen stick. Next, I recommend shutting it down in a printed sarong and espadrille sandals for a seriously chic and breezy look.”
