Proenza
Schouler: With a reworked and refined ’40s silhouette, the show opened on a
decidedly sombre note, but built to a sophisticated mix of print and colour,
combined to stylish effect.
Versace:
The label’s signature sexiness starred here. Models with long, glowing limbs and
healthy manes of hair – epitomes of the Versace woman – took to the runway in
form-fitting shapes of neoprene and plissé, enhanced with flirty pastels and
gold studs.
Chanel:
A departure from its renowned classic style, the new looks were light, fresh
and mother-of-peark luminescent. High-tech fabrics created elegant forms and
eye-catching textures, while the show’s backdrop – a fantastic underwater world
– provided a spectacular setting.
Burberry
Prorsum: The brand’s iconic silhouettes were reborn in a rich colour paltette
and trims and prints, topped off with exotic embellishment.
