Everyone has
their own individual problems when it comes to skin and figuring out what works
best for our particular skin type or skin problem is half of the battle. In
order to get a gorgeous glow, these 5 celebrities have managed to work out what
they needed to change – be it the products they were using or something in
their lifestyle that they needed to adapt – and have been impressed with how
much of an improvement they’ve seen. Managing to clear up spots and make their
visages flawless, these stars now have amazing skin and have shared what their
secrets are for improving their complexions.
1. Victoria Beckham
Victoria has
to work out and eat well to keep her skin blemish-free: “I watch what I eat and
have a very healthy diet. I have to for my skin. I had bad skin.”
2. Cameron Diaz
Cameron saw her
skin vastly improve when she simply started to listen to her body:
"Looking back, I realize that I hadn’t needed those prescription drugs,
those vials of potions and creams. I hadn’t needed to be angry at my skin or
feel bad about myself. I had just needed to listen to my body. … acne was my
body’s alarm system, it was mew ay of telling me [to stop eating fast
food]."
3. Cynthia Nixon
Cynthia
battles Rosacea and it took her a while to figure out how to treat her skin:
"Everything I was doing was the opposite of what I should be for rosacea!
Now I use no scrubs and am really diligent about moisturizing. I'm big into
under eye cream."
4. Isla Fisher
Isla didn't
moisturize in the past because she thought she would make her skin problems
even worse, and realises it was a big mistake: "I moisturize. I used to
not do that when I had problem skin as a teen, because I thought it would make
the situation worse. But keeping your skin moisturised prevents breakouts
rather than encourages them, as long as you use the right kind for your skin
type."
5. Solange Knowles
Solange used
to suffer from bad breakouts and discovered what works for her skin: “I use a
really great line; it’s called Epicuren. I had breakouts and I did everything
you could think of and then I just stopped doing everything and then my skin
just started getting better and better. So, I do that, and I’m really adamant
about my sleep that’s the one thing, if you ask anyone who knows me I’m like I
have to have 10 hours of sleep.”
