model Jourdan Dunn's career is reaching new heights as of late - the model
recently landed a contract with beauty company Maybelline and she also
continues to work for Victoria's Secret and many other big name brands. Opening
up on her personal off-duty style, the stunning model comments that she likes
to mix high street finds with designer pieces, and enjoys experimenting with
different combinations when she's putting together her look. Jourdan says she
loves to shake things up in her wardrobe and find new pieces that work
together: ''My style is about finding specific pieces that stand out but
can be mixed and matched with what I already have in my wardrobe. I am a big
fan of pairing higher and lower priced brands, like Topshop with Saint Laurent
or H&M with some Balenciaga.''
On
applying makeup, Jourdan says she doesn't like to have an overly fussy beauty
look. She prefers to keep it simple and sticks to flattering her face with
highlights and a good basic foundation. She admits she is also crazy about
perfecting her eyebrows: ''When I do my own make-up, I like to stay true
to myself and keep it simple and natural. I apply foundation, a golden shimmer
for cheek definition and I always try to make sure my eyebrows are really
perfect.''
Jourdan
says her top makeup essentials include eyebrow gel, concealer and lip balm. She
adds that when she needs to make her beauty look stand out, she turns to a
great bright lipstick. She said ''When in doubt, put a lip on!''
