'The
Big Bang Theory' star Kaley Cuoco recently chopped off her long blonde locks in
to a much shorter, edgier hairdo. Creating an effortless pixie cut, Kaley's
bold hair move completely revamps her style and now the actress has spoken on
what inspired her to snip off her locks. Kaley says that she hasn't had short
hair for a very long time and she really likes how it turned out because it
feels like a big change.
She
took her inspiration from Michelle Williams' gorgeous pixie hairdo which
featured in the recent Louis Vuitton handbag campaigns, explaining that she
just fell in love with the style when she saw it: ''This haircut was big
for me. I cut off like 10 inches and I love it. I haven't had my hair
short in over 20 years so I needed a change. It's the best decision I've ever
made. I wanted it to be my own, but my inspiration was Michelle
Williams's Louis Vuitton campaign. I loved that haircut so much. I didn't try
to copy it, but I liked that look on her.''
Although
many say that shorter hair is less versatile when it comes to styling, Kaley
couldn't disagree more - she says that she has never had so much fun trying out
different looks and says it's so easy to adapt in to various
styles: ''It's funny, I actually feel like I can do this hair a thousand
times more differently than I could do with my long hair. I feel like it can be
edgy, it can be cute, 60s... kind of whatever I'm feeling.''
