Scherzinger has opened up on her workout regime. The singer and X Factor UK
judge has revealed that she pushes herself to work out five times weekly and
even twice a day. She says that staying so fit helps her to stay as healthy as
possible and she doesn't mind being a gym nut while others are out
partying: ''[I work out] five days a week, twice a day. It helps me stay
in a fit and strong, focused and healthy state of mind... when everybody was
out partying on Friday and Saturday nights, I was at the gym!" Nicole
admits that she doesn't like to drink alcohol and rarely goes on nights out,
although she thinks there is an amazing natural high which she gets from
practicing yoga: ''I don't drink that much because I'm too focused on
working out. Most nights I'm doing hot yoga at 10pm and I don't want to go and
drink after that at 11! It's not an addiction, but it's a natural high. Your
endorphins are going and you crave it, your body misses it.''
Nicole
has previously battled an eating disorder and says that as she gets older she
is able to embrace herself as she already is. She believes younger girls are in
the habit of comparing which can be quite destructive but in time she had
learned to be different: ''You're just not as hard on yourself, when you're
younger you're so critical. We're always comparing ourselves as girls. But
as you get older you learn to embrace the uniqueness, imperfections and
differences. That comes with experience, and life, and learning to love
yourself. Your confidence will shine through. That's the best thing about
growing into yourself as a woman.''
