British
model Daisy Lowe has opened up on her career as a model, admitting that
although she is larger than a normal catwalk model, she is now very comfortable
with her own size. She says that it took her a while to come to terms with her
figure but now she feels very womanly. She even says that if she wasn't a
model, she would probably weight more and would enjoy her more curvaceous body:
''If you stand me next to a normal model I look like an elephant, and that's
alright. It's taken me 10 years to say, 'I'm actually comfortable in my shape
and I'm proud of being a woman and my feminine form.' It's tough - but I'm
still only a size eight! I always say to my friends when they're worrying about
their weight and pulling at their bodies, 'If I didn't do what I do for a
living, I'd love to be a size 12 or 14 and have that curvy body with those
amazing t*ts and that great a**e.' ''
Daisy
has just released a low calorie cooking book focused on gluten-free desserts
named 'Sweetness & Light'. She reveals that she is a sugar addict and hates
to feel as though she is depriving herself and says her recipes are guilt free:
''I've always loved cooking and I've always been a big eater. I've got the
sweetest tooth ever - I love sugar. So I thought, 'Right, I'm going to do this
without making myself feel sad and depriving myself of that treat.' ''
