The word “fashion” enables people
immediately come up with the thought of new trend and things are all the rage.
Therefore, a few people would associate “fashion” with unforgettable mementoes
and the less of them use “”fashion” to explain huge philosophical things. To
those who work in this business, it is stylish to design with the idea of love and
death about the fashion in daily life such as “I deadly want this pair of
shoes”; however to the normal people, that statement feels like coming from a
drama. Nevertheless, in my point of view, I admit that there are some items
that I truly love and adhere to them.
First item to mention is a suede skirt – a
present from my mother in the Biba shopping mall (London) – which made me
become a fashion star in my 3rd grade friends’ eyes. The eye-catching point of
that skirt is dusty look and a chain of strings in front of, which always
dangled stylishly in every step I took. Besides, a pink chiffon shirt together
a loose trouser which was designed basing on the flower arrangement of Lily
Pulitzer was my favorite set when I was young. If I can wear them at my age, I
bet that they will be a splendid and one-of-a-kind set.
In my secondary school, I was driven crazy
with the blooming vintage trend; I changed my fashion sense from a rock fan
into feminine ruche sleeves, with a black tight trouser and a naughty pointed
boots. I was loyal with that lovely appearance and accessories until they were
worn out to be thrown into the waste basket. Afterwards, I fortunately picked
up a bargain – which was a shining seal coat of vintage fashion trend. That
coat outstood with its high neck collar, sheepskin sleeves, and it was
extremely big, so that every times I threw it on the floor, I felt as if I was
riding on a car as the actress Julie Christie in the movie “Doctor Zhivago”.
I used to absorb in coats, such as the
Chevignon green suede coat I bought in Paris, looked nearly the same with one
of Bob Dylan. Dress was one of my favorite pick, for instant I used to
remarkably impress in my older brother’s wedding with a Fendi lovely black
dress, which had skillfully pleated shoulders but tightly fit with my body.
T-shirt was one of the necessary items, one of my favorite one was a silk
T-shirt made from sari clothing of India with the sweet indigo-blue which I
wore in the book introduction. Though now I didn’t have chances to wear them,
they held an important place in my wardrobe reminding me about the precious
memories.
And, of course, after that I was totally
absorbed in the fashion, such as the Helmut Lang tight trouser and Alexander
Wang plain boots I bought in the previous autumn, they meant everything to me.
Or the absolutely stylish German cotton the party dress with the high price
with the elegant and charming design, which attracted my attention never
before.
There will be audience consider “Fashion”
as “over exaggerate” or “satirize”, but to me, the love for fashion is a true
love. Both loves in reality and in fashion enable us to enjoy the joy of life
and have the interesting experience for each and individual. And the most
important thing, a beautiful suit does not only beautify your curves but also
express your best spiritual values.
