According
to new reports, singer Rihanna may be close to inking a huge $1 million deal to
release a range of clothing in collaboration with sports company Puma. A source
leaked that Rihanna will work with a person inside the company to create a line
of sport-inspired clothing, with the main focus point being on shoes, but it
should also include a selection of sporty clothing designs such as pants and
tops. The insider commented on the new fashion collaboration: ''She is going to
have her own coordinator to go to at Puma who only handles her, and they'll
have a junior coordinator helping them. The focus is shoes, but she will also
be helping with pants and tops.''
The
source who leaked the exciting news also says that Rihanna will now also begin
to wear a lot of Puma pieces to promote the company and raise their profile
even before her new line hits stores. The style change won't just be for
performances, but also when she's off-duty and likely to be photographed by the
paparazzi or at events. The person explained how the collaboration will
influence her style going forward: ''She will have to slowly start to
incorporate Puma into her wardrobe. She will be wearing all Puma gear in shoots
and out and about.''
The
offer hasn't been signed but it looks as though Rihanna is going to accept
their offer and go through with the deal at this point: "The offer isn't
signed yet, but she is in 100 percent and wants to do this.''
