Cinnamon & Pear Porridge

·           Rolled oats, ¾ cup

·           Reduced-fat milk, 2 cups, plus extra, to serve

·           Canned pear halves in natural juice, 4, drained, chopped

·           Raw honey (see tip), 1 tablespoon, plus extra, to serve

·           Ground cinnamon, ½ teaspoon

·           Strawberries, hulled, halved, to serve

·           LSA mix (see tip), 2 tablespoons

  1. In a saucepan, combine oats and milk. Bring to boil over low heat, stirring constantly.
  2. Mix in chopped pears. Simmer 8 -10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Stir in honey and cinnamon.
  3. Spoon into two serving bowls. Top with strawberries and sprinkle with LSA. Serve with extra milk and honey, if desired.
