Pandesal French Toast With Smoked Pork Belly Bacon

Ingredient

1 cup all-purpose cream
·
1 stick cinnamon
·
3 tablespoons butter, divided
·
2 pandesal
·
6 slices smoked pork belly bacon
·
3 tablespoons maple syrup
Recipe
1. In a pan, heat
cream with cinnamon stick and 1 tablespoon butter. Keep stirring until the
cinnamon becomes aromatic. Remove from heat and transfer cream to a bowl.
2. Squash
pandesalflat and dip into the cream mixture.
3. Heat a little
butter in a nonstick pan. Place dipped pandesal and further flatten with an
offset spatula. Flip over and flatten again.
4. Serve with
bacon, butter and maple syrup.
