'Florence
& the Machine' singer Florence Welch recently attended the Chanel
Autumn/Winter 2015 show which was held during Paris Fashion Week. Wearing a
gorgeous light pink outfit to the event, Florence has explained that she
selected an ensemble she felt both comfortable and stylish in. The singer adds
that while meeting people at the show, she was impressed by many unique
ensembles that were worn by those in attendance. She said about the event:
"It's good to be comfortable if you're walking around a show and meeting
people. You have to feel relaxed, especially after drinking so much coffee!
There was a guy in a pair of stripy red trousers which I thought were just
wonderful. And there was a big grey trench coat mixed with a mustard yellow
blouse which was really lovely."
Florence
is one of Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld's muses and she revealed that during a
photoshoot that they were working on together, they created an impromptu
collage. She explained that Karl is a very creative person and she was shocked
by how quickly he could put together a unique idea: ''I've made a collage with
Karl before. We were doing a photoshoot together and he likes to make collages
so he pulled a book out of his amazing library and started tearing up pages.
Karl and I were Pritt Sticking away and ideas seem to fall out of nowhere when
you're with him so then suddenly he said, 'You should come out of a ginormous
clam shell on the catwalk!' And I was like, 'Umm, yeah okay'. And that's how it
works.''
