Reality
star Whitney Port is currently preparing to marry fiancé Tim Rosenman and has
opened up on planning her perfect dress for the big day. Whitney looked
through Bridal Fashion Week’s Spring 2015 collections and was inspired for
her own wedding. She reveals that she may be interested in designing her dress
for herself alongside a friend, but may also just purchase a dress that is
already created if she finds the right one: "I haven't chosen my
dress yet, so it gave me a lot of inspiration. I'm not 100 percent sure [if I'm
still going to create the gown]. I have a friend who is a designer that's
willing to work with me. But he also has so many beautiful gowns that he
designed, which are already made."
Whitney
has already tried on some dresses and knows that she wants to wear something
that is unique and not too traditional: "I tried on some dresses that
I never thought I'd want — like a big cupcake dress — for fun at Mark Ingram
Bridal Atelier in New York City. And I was so right — I put it on and it felt
so not like me. I want something non-traditional that's still comfortable,
delicate, and pretty. But I do want to step outside of the regular bridal
box."
She
may even consider going for a very minimal slip dress because it's so fuss free
and easy to wear, while also looking stylish: "I've been toying with
the idea of wearing a classic slip dress and this look is just simple and
comfortable. You don't have to worry about anything or the fuss of a big ball
gown.”
