Stylist
and designer Rachel Zoe is known for her love of vintage pieces and has a vast
archive of covetable designs stashed away in her wardrobe which includes an
array of jewels from many different eras. Clearly with the right knowledge,
Hunter's Fashion have thus turned to Rachel to curate a special vintage
collection of jewellery designs. Commenting on her work, Rachel says that
jewels often have a story to tell and she recalls a special gift she once
received that made her feel extremely "feminine" at the time. She
says it was a very special and memorable piece of jewellery to
receive: ''Jewellery, more often than not, tells a story. I still remember
the gold ring with dangling hearts that I received as a gift for my bat
mitzvah. 'It was feminine and flirty and represents a time during my
adolescence when I really embraced my girly side.''
Pieces
included in the curated collection are from a mixture of time eras including
classic rhinestone earrings, a snake wrap bracelet an array of bangles, baubles
and chandelier earrings. The sale
arrived yesterday and the prices start at a very budget friendly $25 - a
surprisingly low point to begin the sale. As well as this project, Rachel also
just released a brand new fashion advice book named Living in Style: Inspiration and
Advice for Everyday Glamour. Sadly
she opted to cancel her Autumn/Winter 2014 catwalk show which was due to take
place at New York Fashion Week recently, opting instead to spend time with her
newborn son.
