The summer months bring their own set of beauty problems with
them - from dangerous skin damage and sunburn, to keeping makeup looking fresh
in the heat, there are plenty of easy solutions to solve these small
complications that the hot weather brings. The first and most important step it
to take care of your skin. In the morning, applying sun protection all over,
especially if you intend to spent a lot of time outdoors. Bring a sun
protection product with you so you can top up regularly. A spray-on sunscreen
that comes in mist form is the best option for your face if you're already
wearing makeup and don't want to apply sunscreen over your beauty look - the
mist adds a dewy gloss to your complexion but your makeup will stay in
place.
To
set makeup so it will last all day, moisturise well and use a primer product to
form a solid base to build your makeup look. A powder will help set your
foundation, but don't over powder your face during the day, instead opt for
blotting paper to remove oil from your face and freshen up the look. If you're
worried about your foundation streaking in the heat, try out a BB cream
instead. BB cream offers light coverage, moisturises and some even come with an
SPF built in.
Ditch
makeup that requires high maintenance and opt for a beachy natural look for the
warm weather. Forget eyeshadows and complicated eyeliner tricks, instead opting
for mascara, a touch of bronzer to add a glow, and a subtle lip shade. This
type of makeup is much easier to keep looking fresh and is still
flattering.
