·         Ask the kid to get to a quiet or safe room if you have one. If you don’t have a safe area, and your child frequently hit the ceiling, then you need to make one like that. The safe room can be a big, separate room, an empty bedroom or other areas having stuffed animals, magazines or even pillows so that the child can’t hurt himself when dispelling his anger.

·         Take the child to the emergency room if you can’t calm his mind, and ask for medical examination or suicide prevention. If the kid has damaged the property or hurt someone, ask the police to let the child get home until a trial can be held.

·         Have your children do chores to earn money so that they can pay for any damage they’ve made. Prerogatives such as phone and computer must be taken away until the compensation for the damage has been made.

·         Talk to your child when the rage reduces. Have your child enroll in a rage-control class. Consider checking drugs randomly if you feel that violence can be related to the abuse of banned substances.

They should only be used until the child is no longer a threat, or until the police or emergency workers has come to your home. Supervise your child during the house arrest and let him lose instantly when you realize that he has trouble breathing.
