Kate
Middleton, Prince William and their young son George recently embarked upon a
Royal tour to Australia and now designers from the country have lauded Kate's
timeless style. Kate wore a few pieces created by Australian designers during
their stay. Fashion designer Carla
Zampatti was happy to give Kate a glowing compliment, saying the duchess has
not only great style, but she is also a graceful and intelligent woman.
Zampatti commented that she was impressed: ''She is so impressive, so warm
and intelligent. Australia has become enchanted with this couple and Kate is
the best promotion of the fashion industry I can think of. She is
approachable, modern and is not dictated by fashion. She knows who she is. I
thanked her for being so beautiful in everything she wore.''
Designers
behind Australian label Zimmermann, Simone and Nicky Zimmermann, have also
gushed about Kate, who wore a white sun-dress created by the duo during the
stay. The two have revealed that they weren't aware that Kate intended to wear
one of their designs until the last minute and have now been getting many
pre-orders for the design. Nicky commented that they were so amazed by how
stylish and effortless Kate looks and think she is amazingly composed for the
amount of pressure the spotlight brings: ''You couldn't hope for a more
beautiful, fresh gorgeous young woman to wear your dress. She looked divine. I
think she's under an enormous pressure [to look great] and she does. She looked
absolutely immaculate, young and stylish.''
