British beauty Abbey Clancy has just been named as the new
face of lingerie label Ultimo, replacing their former face, Michael Buble’s
wife Luisana Lopilato. Abbey, who is married to footballer Peter Crouch, will
take home £250,000 for the new modelling gig and is said to be overjoyed to be
the new face of the company. Michelle Mone, who founded the brand, commented
that she believes Abbey is the perfect person to front their new campaign: “I’m delighted to announce that Abbey is
the new face and body of Ultimo. She’s a modern beauty, feminine and fashion-forward, which perfectly reflects
our forthcoming Spring Summer collection. It is very exciting times for Ultimo.
We’ve made major improvements to our product and taken a more directional
approach. Abbey’s first Ultimo shoot will reflect this change in direction,
further cementing Ultimo’s position as one of the UK’s best loved lingerie
brands.”
Abbey added that she is excited to be a part of the new campaign because
she feels passionately about what she is modelling and loves the products: “It’s really exciting to be part of such
an established brand at such an exciting time. I absolutely love the Ultimo
product – it’s so wearable and feels amazing on the body! I can’t wait until
the Spring Summer campaign is revealed next year, and to work with Michelle and
her team.”
An insider close
to Abbey says she is very happy to have landed the new role: "Abbey's made up. She loves modelling sexy lingerie
and has always been a fan of Ultimo's stuff. She's done her first shoot and has
been excited by how good the campaign looks. Ultimo have picked the perfect
time to get her to show off her body - she is in tip-top shape at the minute,
as she's been getting extra toned on Strictly."
