Versace
designer Donatella Versace has revealed one of her top style secrets - she
always carries a change of jewellery where ever she goes, and she thinks she
can swiftly alter her outfit in the blink of an eye by adding or removing an
item of jewellery. She admits that she never even takes precautions against
theft because she thinks no one would know she's carrying around extra
jewellery: ''I always have a change of jewellery in my bag. And no, I
don't lock it. Nobody would ever think I would carry rings.''
The
designer also candidly says that when she brother Gianni died in 1997, she took
his keys to his Miami home and keeps them with her even to this day. She says
the keys make her feel confident when she has them on her and she likes to
bring them everywhere: ''I took those keys and I never gave them back.
Having them with me makes me feel confident - secure.''
Dontella
says she regularly carries around a huge bag because it has her makeup, iPad,
phones and much more inside. She says that her essentials weigh a lot but she
is thankful that she recently managed to quit smoking, so it's made some more
room in her bag: ''I have the heaviest bag ever. First I put
lipgloss in - that's very important. Then my iPad, three iPhones - two
business, one personal. I used to carry three packets [of
cigarettes] and maybe four lighters, but I quit. Now I have e-cigarettes.''
