Country singer Miranda Lambert has taken a big step towards
launching her own personalized brand by creating her first shoe line, named
simply 'Miranda by Miranda Lambert'. The first collection consists of three
different styles, the Candice Western Boot, the Larissa Western Bootie and
the Craig Western Bootie, all of which are available in a selection of
finishes including metallic silver, blush suede, matte black and tan.
The new shoes range in price from $79.95 to $129.95 -
affordable and similarly priced to other celebrity lines available such as
Jessica Simpson's very popular shoe brand. Miranda's official website says that
the new shoe designs are inspired by the country singer's own personality and
it has come together in a way that has surpassed Miranda's
expectations: "The shoes are just like Miranda—feisty, sexy,
confident—and reflect what makes us love Miranda: bold beyond all expectations
with just the right combination of edgy and feminine."
Miranda also commented on the new project via her official
Twitter account on December 18th, sharing an image of the new shoe designs
while writing: "I am so excited I can finally share with y'all…I
designed my own shoe line! And you can get them now:)" Miranda recently
opened two new 'Pink Pistol' stores and appears to be launching a whole brand
under her name thanks to her already successful music career. Lambert's shoe
collection launches just after fellow country singer Wynonna Judd unveiled
her own shoe collection - clearly there is a trend here and it's amazing to see
stars branching out to create their own lines inspired by their own sense of
style.
The shoe collection is currently exclusively available via
DSW.com.
