Jennifer
Aniston may have made that famous 'Rachel' haircut a big beauty trend in those
early 'Friends' years but the actress says she hasn't always had an easy time
taming her locks. Jennifer admits she has "problem hair" and often
just lets the professionals deal with it. Over the years, she has learned a lot
from hair stylists about managing her hair herself: ''I always had problem
hair. But I sat in enough chairs of these amazing creators and learned how to
manage it.''
Jennifer
is working with Living Proof to help them create a strong line of products for
all hair types and she says the items live up to their name because it's all
about seeing the results after hair styling. Jennifer believes the products do
make a real difference and she's glad to be involved: ''It's a
wonderful product line that I believe in and which makes a difference
to so many people -- it lives up to its name. And it's fun to be
involved creatively from concept to execution, sharing my ideas."
The
actress reveals she enjoyed taking over some of the responsibility with the
hair product line because she believes she has learned a lot from personal
experience over the years which she has now put to use: "After
spending 25-plus years in makeup and hair, you learn what works and what
doesn't work, what damages your hair -- what you have to mix five products
together to achieve. And [in my] role I have all these men in white lab
coats where I can throw out ideas.''
