22-year-old
British beauty Georgia May Jagger grew up watching her famously stylish mother
Jerry Hall dress in amazing designer ensembles. Georgia reveals that she loved
to watch her mother piece together an outfit when she was younger and enjoyed
being surrounded by the beautiful clothes and accessories. Georgia admits that
she loves to borrow from her mother's extensive collection now that she's the
right age: "Watching my mother get ready to go out [as a child], I
would try on her shoes and hide amongst her dresses, it was magical. My big
sisters stole everything before me, but [nowadays] I can still regularly borrow
from her Vivienne Westwood cardigan collection. I also take her clutch
bags, I don't have very many of them because I'm not a proper adult yet! What I
can't borrow is her shoes though, her feet are ten times bigger than
mine..."
Georgia
also compliments her sisters who she thinks have great style. She says she
looks up to vintage Hollywood stars when it comes to her own
dress-sense: "My sisters and my mum have got a great style. I also
admire Hollywood stars from the 40s, like Greta Garbo or Bette Davis, for their
extreme femininity."
Opening
up on the designers she loves, Georgia comments that British designer Vivienne
Westwood has always been on the top of her list: "Vivienne Westwood has
always been my favourite, I've grown up looking at her creations because my mum
is a huge fan of hers. She's always reinventing herself and isn't scared of
what's different. Her shows never follow the current trends and I admire
that. I also follow Alexander Wang's work closely. And I discover young
designers during my travels, like Dominic Jones, who makes lovely jewellery.
