American
actress Kate Bosworth married director Michael Polish back in August but has
waited until now to reveal both of her stunning wedding dresses - photos from
the couple's special day feature inside the Winter 2013 issue of Martha
Stewart's Weddings magazine and show off the two gorgeous creations. Her main
bridal gown was created by American fashion designer Oscar de la Renta.
The
minimal strapless white gown which featured a full-bodied skirt half and an
6-foot train was beautiful, simple and classic. The actress spoke on trying on
the dress for the first time, admitting that it was an emotional experience and
she had to force back the tears which made her look funny: "He's just seen
it all, and the fact that I'll be able to share my most important moment to
date with him is profound. I couldn't control my reaction to sitting with
him and talking with him about my wedding dress. I was trying not to cry, so I
probably had this bizarre twisted face on."
After
the ceremony, Kate switched in to a vintage inspired white lace gown, ditching
the train to make it easier for her to share her first dance with her new
husband. She wore her hair up in a fairy-like crown, completing her look with
very natural looking makeup. The four-day wedding celebration was held at
The Ranch at Rock Creek in Montana because of its “privacy and rustic old-world
charm". Kate invited along her family and close friends such as Lake
Bell to celebrate.
