'Girls' actress Zosia Mamet has shot to stardom thanks to the
success of the hit tv show and has quickly become acknowledged for her stylish
dress sense. The actress favours tomboyish tailoring, subtle abstract prints
and unfussy fitting designs that look relaxed yet stylish. Explaining her
signature look, Zosia opens up on what she is attracted to when it comes to
getting dressed, revealing that she simply won't wear clothes that are
uncomfortable no matter how beautiful the piece in question is. She will only
wear designs that she personally feels comfortable and confident in. Zosia
explains: "I'm not the girl who is going to put on something I can't
breathe in or walk or sit down in. I don't see the point. I like something I
feel good in, that feels 'me'."
On her recent purchases, Zosia reveals that a new pair of
pyjamas is one big hit that she recently bought herself: "I just bought
some striped pyjamas from American Apparel and I really love them. Sometimes I
put a headscarf on with them when I'm cleaning the apartment."
Zosia admits she doesn't like to use stylists but will turn to
one for help “every once in a while." However, she prefers to
be involved with her own styling and thankfully knows lots of designers who
would like to work with her: "And I’m close with a lot of designers that I
love to wear, so most of it is me calling them up being like, ‘Hey can we find
something? That’s my favorite way of doing it. It feels the most fun and the
most comfortable that way. I like wearing people I know.”
