in. Dealing with a child taking more time to fall asleep can be tiring to both
and it can quickly consume your nighttime rest. Take control over the situation
by setting up rules for bed time and stick to them.

Take a walk with your child each afternoon or play with him in
the backyard. Daily physical activities is a healthy habit for both, it will
burn the excess energy and make the child sleepy until bed time.

Teach your child that the bed is the place used for sleeping
only. Avoid pushing him to go to bed as a punishment; he can start linking
bedroom with stress or awful feeling. Try to read him a bedtime story while
tucking him in a rocking chair or on a couch in the living room.
