Charlotte
Ronson is teaming up with Tiny Prints to create her first stationery
collection. Set to be released in June, the selection of paper products will
take inspiration from Ronson's upcoming Autumn/Winter 2014 collection. The New
York based designer commented that she has always been a fan of cute finishing
touches, and believes it adds a sentimental quality to any occasion: “I
was really excited about the opportunity. I’ve always loved little personal
touches. We get so lazy with just sending an email or evite. Sometimes it's
kind of fun to write that card, write that thank you note or write that
invitation. I’m always a sucker for that.”
On
the collection she'll be taking the prints from, Charlotte explains that her
muse was a darker version of her usual vision and quite mysterious: “My
girl this Fall is a little more serious, a little bit spooky, a hopeless
romantic, dark and mysterious.” She adds that her prints are an important part
of each of her collections: “All my prints are so important and just
really speak to my brand and my girl. At the same time, they really work on a
card. It still feels very holiday and girly and feminine.”
She
gushes that she is especially happy to work with Tiny Prints in particular
because their products are always high quality: “With Tiny Prints, you
know it will be first class, amazing paper, amazing customer service but the
design people choose is based on their personality. I know the choices the
customer has made will always look incredible. As a designer, I don’t have to
worry about it because Tiny Prints has it figured out.”
