Check the mattress and crib padding to know whether there’s wetness or
stains. Things like these may need washing or wiping away.
2.
Clean any dirty diaper in the room and install a diaper pail that has a
strong cover which had better have an automatic lock. This will prevent the
smell from leaking out.
3.
Spray disinfectant on the diaper pail and on hard, non-porous surfaces
like laminate, plastic or painted surfaces (always check on a painted surface
before spraying on the entire area). It’d be better you don’t use sprays like
Lysol on wood surfaces, so use a cleanser that is friendly to wood instead.
