Your child may be strong and healthy for most of the time,
but almost all babies can have diaper rash. Diaper rash can happen when the
baby gets stuck in the dirty diaper for too long. Other causes may include
sensitivity toward towel or soap. Diaper rash may be huge deal to you and your
baby. Luckily, there’re lots of home remedies to treat diaper rash. An example
for that is taking a baking soda bath.

Things you need
·
A box of baking soda
Instruction
·
Pour warm water into the basin you normally use to bath the baby.
Don’t let the water become too hot as this can worsen diaper rash.
·
Ladle out 2 teaspoons of baking soda, put them in the warm water.
Use your hand to mix baking soda with water.
·
Put the baby in the baking soda bath and let him soak in it for
about 10 minutes/day. Continue doing this until diaper rash is gone.

·
Check your baby’s mouth to see whether diaper rash has already
disappeared or not. If you see the white spots in his mouth, the baby may have
thrust, a kind of yeast infection that can cause diaper rash. If you doubt
that, mix a teaspoon of baking soda with a glass of water. Put your finger or a
cotton swab into the mixture and apply it inside the baby’s mouth. This can
help to prevent thrash.
Advice and warning
·
When your baby has diaper rash, let the baby free from the diaper
for a period of time each day. The fresh air can help to heal the sore.
