Kate
Bosworth has opened up on her star style crush, admitting that she loves how
Cate Blachett puts together outfits on the red carpet. Kate gushes that she
believes Blanchett always manages to mix elegance with an experimental twist
which is something she finds very stylish: "I admire Cate Blanchett's
style, because she has a classic sense of elegance that I'm attracted to, but
she's also experimental. She is super chic. It's that kind of Katharine Hepburn
street style, but always with something interesting."
Kate
recently launched her own fashion app named 'Style Thief' which gets users to
snap images of people or items they like in order to get the look. The actress
says she wouldn't mind approaching someone whose outfit she likes to take their
photo: "My personality is the type that I would ask them. I am constantly
aware of people sneaking photos. People are aware. I would imagine that most
people would be flattered if you were like, 'Do you mind if I steal your look?
I love what you are wearing.'"
Commenting
on her current style influences and what she hopes to wear for the season
ahead, Kate reveals that she loves gathering vintage inspiration, and is
looking to both the 60s and 70s for style ideas, while she is particularly
obsessed with ankle boots: "I'm looking at '60s inspiration and
transitioning to '70s for fall. And footwear is definitely a highlight. I do
like the idea of a pointy boot. Again, sort of a '60s drive. Gucci did it quite
well. That sort of tight to the ankle boot."
