British
model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been demonstrating just how business savvy
she is recently. She has turned designer for her lingerie collection 'Rosie for
Autograph' which is sold through British retailer Marks & Spencer, and she
has also once again taken on an acting role in 'Mad Max: Fury Road'. Rosie
explains that she loves to be a part of the creativity and to be able to make
other decisions: ''I love being at the helm of a business and making
creative and executive decisions.''
Rosie
previously decided to distance herself from the Victoria's Secret brand and no
longer models for the company, but she says that she had a fun time working for
them and the most enjoyable element was the annual Victoria's Secret
show: ''I had five fantastic years with Victoria's Secret, The shows are
the most fun thing you can do as a model. But ultimately to [have the chance
to] work on my own brand, rather than for a brand, is really where it gets
exciting for me.''
She
has already appeared in a Transformers film, and will also star in the
soon-to-be-released Mad Max film, but Rosie admits she wasn't particularly
interested in acting and just took good opportunities that came her
way: “I have always called myself a model. I’ve been really lucky in my career
to end up landing a couple of incredible opportunities with films that I’ve
done. It was never part of my plan at all. They were just incredible
opportunities that I’ve grasped. I think you’ll agree when you get to be in a
film like Mad Max or Transformers, you’d be crazy to say no and turn that
down.”
