Pasinger Fabrik Theatre
Much Noise About Nothing is the name of the largest stage of this
alternative cultural centre, located next to the U-Bahn station in
Pasing. The centre includes a space for children’s and youth theatre, a
venue for musical performances, and a cafeteria, which serves delicious
food. Komödie im Bayerischen Hof Comedies,
musicals, and revues, often with well-known stars, are the mainstays of
this elegant and luxurious theatre in the famous Bayerischer Hof. Theater 44 This
intimate space in Schwabing is home to Munich’s oldest, privately
operated theatre. Close proximity to the actors ensures patrons enjoy a
special experience. TamS-Theater You’ll
find the TamS in a rear courtyard in the heart of Schwabing. Founded in
1970 by Philip Arp, it gained fame with his Valentinaden evenings,
which continued the tradition of the great comedian and his droll and
scurrilous humour. TamS continues to stage unusual and paradoxical
productions. TeamTheater Teamtheater
Tankstelle is the name of the larger stage, and Teamtheater Comedy is
its smaller sister. Enjoy the spectacle on stage while savouring
culinary delights. Schauburg One
of the most renowned stages for young people’s theatre yet equally
enjoyable for adults. Set up in a converted cinema, Schauburg is
celebrated for its innovative work with new theatrical forms. Blutenburgtheater “Germany’s
first stage for mysteries” lives up to its name. Mysteries make up this
theatre’s highly entertaining and gripping programme. Metropol Characterized
by a 1950s aesthetic, this former cinema was converted into a theatre
and has gained an excellent reputation for distinguished performances,
frequently accompanied by music. Lach- und Schieß gesellschaft This
cabaret gained fame in the 1950s under the direction of Dieter
Hildebrandt and became even more popular later when a TV series was made
of it. The cast has changed but the programme has remained the same –
political cabaret with a bite. Theater im Fraunhofer This down-to-earth pub offers not only hearty Bavarian treats but also a small stage for music, cabaret, and satire in the back.
