'Britain's
Got Talent' judge Amanda Holden has just commented that she plans to launch her
own fashion collection. Amanda says she has been inspired by Victoria Beckham's
career and would love to follow in her footsteps by creating her own label for
women, although she is more interested in creating designs that women can
afford and don't need to break the bank to own. Amanda said: ''I admire
Victoria Beckham because she was absolutely in it [her fashion business] and it
was a massive success so I would rather take the time to do something well and
be able to talk about it and promote it - and make it affordable as well.''
Amanda
says that there are lots of other celebrity clothing lines already but she'd
love to join in on the fun and would see it as a way of expanding her empire
which already includes a book: ''I think a lot of the market is saturated with
clothing lines. I've never cashed in. I wrote my own book and if I am going to
do something I'd want to be involved in it 100 per cent.'' Amanda comments that
she has two current projects that she's busy working on and she is
especially excited because she believes her work will reach people. She hints
that one may be about children, although she isn't ready to give out too many
details just yet: “There are two projects I’m working on. It’s exciting because
I’m genuinely involved and it’s not out of reach for people.”
