Singer
Pharrell Williams has hinted that he may open his own fashionable concept store
which would house imported designs for men and women. The 'Happy' hitmaker
thinks Miami would make for a great location for the new store, and he would be
interested in copying French concept store Colette who sell a mixture of unique
designer items, accessories, fashion magazines and more. The star added that he
would love to have a whole range of hats available because it's something he's
particularly obsessed with: ''A concept store like [Paris'] Colette
in Miami could be cool. I don't know what the best location would be. Perhaps
Lincoln Road or even Bayside... Inside, you'd find lots of products
imported from Europe as well as my own collections. I would have a whole floor
dedicated to hats and caps, I can't get enough of them.''
Pharrell
recently designed 'I am OTHER' collection for Uniqlo and complimented the brand
for focusing on simplicity: ''I like Uniqlo's simplicity. I created a
capsule collection of T-shirts and caps to help celebrate their twelfth
birthday. The design is very clean, that's what I love.''
The
singer adds that in the future, he would love to design his own top hat and
admits he loves the attention his fashion sense garners on the red
carpet: : ''Maybe a top hat... I love clothes and I only do what I'm
passionate about. I love making a scene when I turn up on the red carpet in
shorts.''
