There are two ways to enjoy the landscapes
of Tuscany. One is within museum like the Uffizi in Florence or the Pinacoteca

Holy Week in Spain (2- 9 April) embaces
every town and village in the country, with processions of candlelit floats and

Vejer de la Frontera
Bluefin tuna, which come into the Med to
spawn between April and June, are welcomed in many towns in southern Spain by a
Ruta d’Atun festival, in which locals and visitors journey from bar to bar
sampling tuna tapas. Annie B’s Spanish Kitchen (00 34 620 560 649;
www.anniebs.co.uk), a cookery school in the historic Andalucian town of Vejer
de la Frontera, is offering a four- night break from 17 May. Guests will learn
