Beautiful
model Lara Stone, who is married to 'Britain's Got Talent' judge David
Walliams, welcomed a son named Alfred last year. The model reveals that just as
she discovered she was pregnant, she was also booked for a modeling job, but
when the company who booked her found out and the pregnancy, they decided to
cancel the job and work with someone else. She commented that she was very
upset about the incident: ''I was really upset at the time. I hadn't yet had my
three-month scan and I felt really vulnerable about everything. I no longer had
a job. That was it - I had to just stop everything that I knew; the way my life
was.''
Lara
adds that once she gave birth, she felt a great struggle to get her body back
and noticed how much of a change she had been through. She didn't understand
why her clothes wouldn't fit her anymore: ''Once the baby was out I was
like, 'What the hell is going on?' My arms don't fit into my sweaters. I
couldn't get my jeans over my knees. I couldn't find a bra that fitted me. I
had body dysmorphia but the wrong way round.'' The model has since dropped her
baby weight with a special diet and is now back pursuing more work as a model,
although she reveals that people are still slow to work with her in case her
body isn't perfect: ''I've had a few meetings because when they hear
pregnancy they freak out a bit, so they need to see if I fit in their clothes.''
