Chocolate Hazelnut Swirl

Ingredient

3/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
·
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
·
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
·
2 eggs
·
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
·
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
·
1/2 teaspoon salt
·
3/4 cup chocolate hazelnut spread mixed with 1 tablespoon
all-purpose flour, room temperature
Recipe
1. Preheat oven to
325°F. Line an 8- x 12-inch pan with baking paper. Set aside.
2. Melt butter in a
saucepan over low heat. Add sugar and stir until sugar melts into the butter.
Transfer to a mixing bowl and cool until just warm. Add vanilla extract.
3. Add eggs, one at
a time, beating well after each addition.
4. Combine flour,
baking soda and salt. Turn off mixer and add flour mixture. Beat on low until
flour is fully mixed in.
5. Spread batter
onto pan. Spoon chocolate hazelnut spread in dollops across the batter’s surface.
With a knife, cut through the batter to create swirls of chocolate.
6. In the preheated
oven, bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until top is crusty and turns light brown.
