A research published in Journal of Aging in 2000 told compared to control group, rats supplemented with vitamin E showed a significant increase of 500-900% dopamine in brains and peripheral tissues in 8-month period. Dopamine controls the flow of information into different areas of brains.

Also a research in Brain Research Journal in 2000 found that aging rats were fed with diets supplemented with spinach, strawberry and blueberry had some improvements in memory.
