When your mother knows that you are
pregnant, she advises you many things about diets with enough nutrients so that
you can bear a strong baby.
Therefore, my child who is over months old
isn’t ill and easily eats. When it was born, it was strong. When it was 2 weeks
old, I could bath it by myself. To have this thing, maybe I was healthy in
pregnancy, less illness and had a suitable diet.
With experience of the first pregnancy, I
will share some experiences about diet and taking a rest in pregnancy so that
baby will be healthy when it is born.
Eat a lot of meals in day
You should eat enough 3 meals and also have
snacks to help your child not feel hungry. You should eat a lot of rice and
bread because they contain much starch that can make fetus develop strongly.
Normally, I eat 2 bowls of rice a meal. If you are afraid of eating, you can
eat a bowl in every main meal. In addition, you can add noodles. You should
limit soft noodles because it is soaked to rise sourly. Therefore, it isn’t
good for pregnant women’s digestive system.
You
should eat enough 3 meals and also have snacks to help your child not feel
hungry.
Eat many green vegetables
I often ate a lot of green vegetable
because I feared to be constipated in pregnancy. In snacks, I often ate fruits
and drank milk. If you aren’t familiar with pregnant milk, you can drink normal
formula or fresh milk, they are also very good. You should eat a lot of
vitamins and fibers to improve vitamins and fibers. A small note is that you
don’t eat sour fruits and then drink milk. Milk’s profit will precipitate when
it combines with sour taste and this thing is harmful to digestive system.
After main meals, I ate a box of yoghurt to digest easily, and it is a
plentiful source of protein to pregnant women.
Pregnant
women should eat green vegetables in daily meals.
Don’t forget to stay out in the sun
In pregnancy, you should stay out in the
sun to help your child’s bones become healthy and have ideal height. In the
last months of pregnancy, when you contact with sunlight, content of vitamin D
will increase. Vitamin D that is produced from sunlight will combine with
calcium to help child have healthy foundation from mother’s womb.
Remember to drink water
I drank a lot of water because it was good
for amniotic fluid and also made my skin become more beautiful. I had a small
bottle of water on my desk and often drank it regardless of not feeling thirsty
to create a habit. You can also drink coconut water, sugar-cane juice, fruit
juices…
Walk smoothly
You shouldn’t think that you have to
abstain from walking in pregnancy. Walking smoothly will be good for you and
fetus. You can spend 15 minutes going to the market every day. After one hour
of working, you can stand up and walk a little to avoid stress and the risk of
catching diseases about hemorrhoids or constipation.
Walking
smoothly is good for pregnancy.
Eat many different foods
When you are pregnant, you shouldn’t scare
of losing figure. You should diversify meals with foods that can provide with
enough nutrients such as protein, fat acids, calcium Fe, florate.... They are
useful to develop brain and increase child’s resistance after being born.
Avoid foods containing a lot of sugar
You should avoid sweet cake, drinks with a
lot of sugar because they easily make you feel full. As a result, you don’t
want to eat other nutritious foods. In addition, it can make you have tooth
decay. Instead of them, you can eat sweet fruits such as grapes, bananas,
apples, pears… that are very good for body. Specifically, grapes contain a lot
of vitamins such as C, B, PP… Grapes have high content of sugar, but it is easy
to absorb. Moreover, it isn’t hot like sugar in sugar-cane and beet. Pregnant
women are often advised to eat bananas. Bananas contain vitamin B6, B12
potassium, magnesium that can reduce uncomfortable symptoms such as feeling
dizzy, vomiting in morning of pregnancy.
Don’t forget to take care of mouth and teeth
You should take care of mouth and feet well
because this thing will affect mouth and teeth’s health of fetus. In office,
you should choose for yourself the most comfortable sitting posture to avoid
cramp. When you sit in a long time, you will break your back and shoulder. You
can massage to feel comfortable.
I hope that you will be healthy in
pregnancy to help your child have a solid beginning.
