What are the Procedures Involved in the Mummy Makeover?

Tummy Tuck. This procedure is the process, medical procedure, or surgery of the abdomen to remove excess fats and flesh. The surgery then will proceed to tighten muscles and skin to make the abdomen firmer. Tummy Tuck is medically known as abdominoplasty.

Breast Lift. Breast lift or mastopexy is the process or procedure that raises the breasts from sagging. Breast sagging and drooping is normal to women who had given birth and had breast fed their babies. The process also aims to reduce the loose skin that is caused by aging and weight loss.

Breast Augmentation. Breast lift is a different from breast augmentation. When breast lift aims to lift sagging breasts, the augmentation procedure aims to add or increase the size of the breast. This will be possible through implants. It is one of the most common procedures across the world.

Breast Reduction. As you can see, the makeover focuses and ahs put emphasis on breasts. That would be because the breast is the center of pregnancy and has been the first part of the body to be affected by sagging and gravity.  After pregnancy, breasts may grow and may be disproportionate to your body.

Liposuction. So I guess everybody has heard of liposuction. It is the procedure that aims to remove fat from any part of your body. It removes the fats from the deep layer below that skin and is used to lose certain amount of weight. Liposuction may target the following body parts: neck, arms, stomach, hips, buttocks, knees.

The mummy makeover may come as a package and is often sought by women who wishes to regain their pre-pregnancy figure. Other procedures can also be considered and added to the makeover. A skilled and trained surgeon can perform the procedure for you.

The surgery will require you to be put under general anesthesia. The procedure schedules may depend on your doctor. He or she may opt to have it weeks or months apart. Hospital stay is also requires after every procedure.

Pain and discomfort can be experienced after each surgery, post op care instructions will also be given to you and you should follow it religiously.

To be able to reach this makeover stage you have first to be healthy to stand the rigorous medical procedures. So eat healthy, exercise, avoid alcohol and smoke, and plan it well. It is better to have someone to support you all the way throughout the treatment.
