Patanjali to Vivekananda, the Bhagavad- gita and the Ramayana. Many current
teachers have also written uplifting books.

Yoga teachers are there to inspire you and
cultivate the individual expression of yourself through yoga. If you don't feel
validated by a particular class, it's time to move on. In your yoga journey
there will be many times the call to change will be heard. Listen.

Meditation
Yoga today has adopted many different types
of meditation: mantra meditation, Buddhist mindfulness and New Age
wish-fulfilling practices. Experiment until you find something you enjoy and
keep experimenting.
