After a hard week at work, a weekend trip to
Bath is fashionista heaven
You’ve had yet another groundhog week: five
days of the office, gym, TV dinners and long commutes. By 6pm on Friday, it’s
time to escape the daily grind effortlessly (no clammy train journeys) and
stylishly (no tracksuit allowed) for that Bath city break. The weekend bag is
packed, and once your BFF slips into the seat of your Ford Fiesta and gets her
playlist going, you’re in road trip nirvana.

She streams Lianne La Havas from her phone
for a classy chill-out, while you call your neighbour to remind her to feed the

temperature inside is automatically set to cool.
It’s time for a quick petrol stop (capless

Milson Place - just up from Mimi Noor - one of the best boutiques for
perfect-fit jeans. You want to check out Scarlet Vintage on Queen St for a spot
of 20s chic, too.
Parking up, space is tight but the
rear-view camera makes it a cinch. It’s the cocktail hour and time to run
through your next fash-packed weekend away (see top right).
