Newborn baby’s head looks quite
strange?
Before babies are born, read books, watch
TV, or gossip with friends, you imagine that head of your angel looks round and
nice, but you are shocked when seeing your child in the first time because its
head looks quite strange and has tip. In fact, the reason is baby’s head must
past many hours to go through your pelvis during laboring and delivering. The
bones of skull have not come together yet in order to adjust flexibly the shape
to pass through birth canal, protect the skull from breaking, and avoid
damaging the brain.

on baby’s body. For example, two
sides of nose can quite narrow, liquid under skin make baby’s eyes look

Infants often tremble and startle
After many months residing in warm uterus
of mothers, babies are born and begin to get acquainted with the world outside.
In new environment, babies feel unsafe and are startled are normal. Besides,
newborn babies often have startling reaction (Moro). When they feel as if they
fall down or slide, they will put hands up, stretch body, turn back
unconditionally and get hands back quickly. These reactions will lose when they
are 3 months old.
In addition, completing nervous system of
babies also send electrical impulses to muscles more than necessary. This can
make you see their chin and legs themselves tremble. When everything is
organized stably after a few weeks, they will less startle. Normally, baby’s
startle does not need to be worried. But do not be subjective! Take your babies
to the doctor immediately if you feel them trembling, shaking with bouts or
still startling and sharking even when you touch and hold them.
Penis is bigger than usual
Before your husband proud of his son’s
penis which is bigger than usual, he should know that it is not genetic
characteristics and there is no superman power specifying size of penis. The
truth is baby’s penis is swollen due to birth process, as well as water
retention in tissues. Moreover, baby’s body still has mother's hormones after
born. In boys, the female hormone causes testicle bigger, while in girls, they
make babies’ 'lower lip' swollen. Swelling of genitals will disappear after a
few days.
They always feel hungry
During the first weeks, because of lack of
experience in caring for children, you seem feeling that babies need to be fed
every hour. Demands of frequent nursing of babies are also natural ways to
stimulate breast milk down quickly after birth. Breastfeeding babies tend to
eat more than usual because breast milk is digested and absorbed faster than
formula milk.

The main reason why babies are required to eat
regularly is the needs of their development. They will double body weight after
the first 6 months requiring being provided a huge amount of calories into
body. Babies also have stages that nutritional needs are especially high; the
first stage usually takes place at about 4-6 weeks age. But not at any time
when they cry and harass, they need to eat; sometimes they just need you to pat
and cuddle. If babies have been fed for 2 to 3 hours, try holding them in your
arms to calm them before breastfeeding.
Baby’s limbs are cold

blanket, feel their body temperature. If you feel they are warm enough and ruddy skin, there are no abnormalities for babies.
Baby’s limbs are cold and pale because its
circulatory system is still completed, blood is prioritized to supply to the
most important and necessary parts on its body to maintain the life; hands and
feet is the last organs that blood supplies to.
Babies can need up to three months in order
that the small circulatory system can meet full demand of life outside mother’s
body.
Before

There is blood in diapers
The hormones that make ‘penis’ or 'lower
lip' of babies swell are also 'culprit' of blood in babies’ diapers. Do not
worry if you see a trail of blood or a dirty spot in your baby's diapers in the
first weeks. Mini periods usually last for a few days. Sometimes, things that
you think can be blood is just dark concentrative urine in folds of diaper.
However, a trail of bright red blood is not normal, so babies need medical
care.
